SKK Migas, with its Pokja Digitalisasi Rantai Suplai, opened a booth for On-Site CIVD (Centralized & Integrated Vendor Database) and E-Commerce during the 4th ICIOG (International Convention on Indonesian Upstream Oil & Gas 2023) event held in Bali on September 20-22, 2023. This booth was set to cater the needs of IOG’s participants who would like to know about the E-Catalogue initiative as well as to consult on the CIVD verification process.

The web-based e-catalogue or digital marketplace platform of SKK Migas was formally launched on the 1st day of ICIOG and named as Indonesian Oil & Gas E-Commerce (IOG E-Commerce) which aiming to broaden the opportunity for Indonesia’s national vendors to become Upstream Oil & Gas contractors. This system, which will be integrated with the already established CIVD system, is developed by SKK Migas along with 27 active Production Sharing Contractors (KKKS) in Indonesia. While CIVD itself is an online platform to do an integrated and centralized qualification process between KKKS in Indonesia where the database can be used by all KKKS for selecting qualified vendor(s) from the administrative, financial and/or HSSE aspects.

During the ICIOG 2023 event, Mr. Arifin Tasrif, the Indonesian Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources, came to the booth and enthusiastically discussed on the “what and how” of the IOG E-Commerce as well as the CIVD process. There were 14 (fourteen) SPDA/ Sertifikat Pengganti Dokumen Administrasi issued as the end-product of the verification process conducted within CIVD realm during this event. Among those SPDAs, 3 (three) of them were issued by Texcal Energy Mahato Inc. which marked the active participation of Texcal in this ICIOG event.
