The 4th ICIOG (International Convention on Indonesian Upstream Oil & Gas 2023) held in Nusa Dua Bali from 20 – 22 September 2023, hosted many events among others the signing of the new PSCs.
On Thursday morning, 21 September 2023, witnessed by Indonesia’s Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources, Mr. Arifin Tasrif, and the Head of SKK Migas, Mr. Dwi Soetjipto, there were 3 (three) signing ceremony of new PSCs, one of them was Bengara I Block and Mr. Ibrahim Attereh was signing the Bengara I Block PSC on behalf of PT. Texcal Energy Bengara Indonesia. This new PSC valued at USD 6,5 million and with signature bonus of USD 50K.
The Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources, Mr. Arifin Tasrif, in his opening statement stated that as of 2023 the Government of Indonesia allow investors to actively participated in the government’s open bid for blocks or directly negotiated with the government in acquiring new oil and gas block here in Indonesia.
