To reinforce its steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship, Texcal Energy Mahato Inc. successfully conducted a comprehensive series of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) initiatives in commemorate of World Environment Day 2026 on 20 – 21 June 2026 at Field. The event served as a platform to advance workforce education on environmental management, highlight achievements in organic waste processing, and promote long-term sustainability across all operations in the Mahato Block.
The commemoration featured an engaging lineup of activities designed to bridge eco-awareness with practical action, including:
- Educational Talk Shows: Informative sessions led by the medical team with the theme “The Impact of Plastic Waste on the Human Body and Food Chain,” alongside practical insights from housekeeping on “Converting Organic Waste into Compost.”
- Ecological Actions: A tree-planting drive and the release of fish into local community canals and Company’s onsite conservation pond to support local biodiversity.
- Community Engagement: A collaborative fun fishing session designed to strengthen local ties.
The event was attended by Texcal Energy employees, contractor representatives, and key local stakeholders, including the Tapung Police Chief (Kapolsek), Deputy Chief (Wakapolsek), and the Tapung Military District Commander (Danramil).
