As part of Company’s strong commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy, and productive work environment, Texcal Energy Mahato Inc. commemorated the 2026 International Day Against Drug and Illicit Trafficking (World Drug Day) at Petapahan Barat Site on 18 July 2026.
The program was attended by the company representative, employees, contractors, and representatives from the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Kampar Regency, Tapung Sector Police (Tapung Polsek), and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Kampar Regency.
The Company emphasized that maintaining a safe and healthy workplace extends beyond compliance, it relies heavily on employee integrity and health. Drug abuse poses significant risks to coworkers, operational integrity, and the surrounding community.
To actively prevent these risks, the company reaffirmed its dedication to a drug-free environment as a core part of its Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) culture. All employees were encouraged to support one another, uphold professional integrity, and utilize established channels to report any suspected drug-related activities.
BNN of Kampar Regency was conducted awareness sessions which highlighted the devastating impacts of narcotics on health, family, and workplace productivity, emphasizing that continuous education is key to prevention. Tapung Polsek also outlined Indonesia’s narcotics laws and legal consequences, reinforcing that combating drug abuse requires strong collaboration between law enforcement, corporations, and the community.
During the event, in collaboration with PMI of Kampar Regency, the Company conducted Voluntary Blood Donation to support the local community health needs. This event continued with a random drug check as part of the Company’s preventive measures to ensure a safe and drug-free working environment. The Company conducted proactive and random testing to ensure all personnels remain fit for duty, which is critical for safety in the high-risk oil and gas industry.
Through this collaborative event with Kampar Regency BNN, Tapung Polsek, and Kampar Regency PMI, Texcal Energy Mahato Inc. strengthens its dual mission: creating a safe, productive, and drug-free workplace while actively contributing to the well-being of the surrounding community.
