Reaffirming the company’s core commitment to operational excellence, Texcal Energy Mahato Inc. has conducted 2026 National Safety Month, a month-long initiative designed to embed a robust safety culture in company which held from 12 January 2026 to 12 February 2026 at Petapahan field. This program has aligned with the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower’s National mandate, “Developing a Professional, Reliable, and Collaborative Health and Safety Management Ecosystem.” This initiative featured a series of high-engagement activities, including emergency response drills, safety quizzes, and creative video competitions involving both employees and contractors.
The main event of National Safety month was conducted on 31 January 2026 where the Company conducted the Commemoration Day which attended by such as regional government leaders, including the Heads of Tapung and Tapung Hilir subdistricts, local police, military commanders, representatives from the Riau Province Labor Body, and also partners which highlighted the collaborative nature of the region’s energy sector.
During the event, Mr. Viqi Kurniawan as HSSE Manager has opened the event by giving speech. He underscored that safety is linchpin of the company’s business continuity. “Our vision is clear: achieving our oil production targets with zero accidents and zero recordable incidents,” he stated. He further emphasized that success is relies on strong partnership among all stakeholders. He concluded his speech by encouraging all attendees to remain diligent in their working and maintain spiritual mindfulness.
Another main highlight of the ceremony was the HSSE Recognition Awards, which giving awards to employees and contractors who demonstrated exceptional safety leadership throughout 2025. By celebrating these Safety Champions, the Company has purpose to inspire a workforce-wide adherence to global best practices.
The Commemoration Day was concluded by a collective prayer and also encourage the attendees to remain vigilance, ensuring that the Company remains a benchmark for safety and reliability in Indonesia’s energy landscape.
