As part of Texcal Energy Mahato Inc. commitment and contribution for the Micro Small Enterprises (UMKMs) in Texcal’s operational areas in Petapahan village, Tapung district of Kampar regency, Riau, Texcal together with the District Head of Tapung (Camat) as well as Chief of Petapahan Village (Kades) have developed and nominated some local enterprises to be more professional in managing their business and ready to go-national in selling their products.
There are 3 (three) UMKMs that were nominated since early 2023, those enterprises namely CV. Aldi Multi Abadi (Petapahan village), Batik Srikandi Sibuak (Sibuak village) and Ulie Oleh-Oleh Kampar (Bukit Sembilan village). The supports provided by Texcal were shown in the involvement of those enterprises in the National Capacity Forum for Sumbagut area which in year 2023 was held in Batam. The three enterprises’ personnel were invited to exhibit their products such as Ikan Salai (smoked fish), tenun songket (traditional woven), batik tulis, and various snacks from Kampar regency area.
During the Forum the booth of Texcal and its UMKMs were crowded by visitors and applauded by other exhibitors too. Our booths showcasing various products that have been packed hygienically and displayed attractively got more attentions from guests including the wife of Riau’s Governor, the Secretary of SKK Migas, the head of Bank BRI of Kepri province as well as medias. The Management of Texcal also very proud of the UMKMs’ products that have shown higher quality as the results of Texcal’s accompaniment for months.
