Mr. Irshad Fajar as Drilling Team Lead from Drilling Department of Texcal Mahato EP FZCO has received an invitation request to be one of Judge of Integrated Petroleum Festival (IPFEST) 2023 which held in Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) on February 24, 2023, Bandung with the theme “Integrating the Prominent Role of Oil and Gas in the Energy Transition”. The event was attended by various universities in Indonesia and some of them from abroad. Besides that, it has many competitions such as Business Case Competition, Geothermal Development Plan Competition, Well Design Competition, Mud Innovation Competition, Oil Rig Design Competition, Paper & Poster Competition, Plan of Development Competition and Smart Competition.
Mr. Irshad Fajar became judge for Well Design Competition. There are five (5) university’s team to compete under Well Design Competition with the theme of “Optimizing Well Construction to Reach Production Targets Towards Energy Transition”. Each team had delivered presentation of Proposal of Well Design of CO2 Injector well as Enhanced Oil Recovery to increase oil production. Overall, students have delivered good presentations and topics. Judges have also given many technical feedback and comments as insight for the team. Hope many university students are able to grasp the concept of well design effectively and thus support them to become the future leaders in Oil and Gas Industries.
